The year 2004 is bidding us goodbye very soon and we gonna welcome a new year 2005. It's a new beginning and it's time we start afresh. With that in mind, I have created a new blog for myself. A new beginning, a new mindset, a new look and a new set of new year resolutions. So do visit my new blog ~click here~ with immediate effect. I will still keep my old blog because there's a lot of memories in it. At least when I am bored, I can read through and relive the memories.

It's New Year Eve today and I am sure most of you will be out partying and countdown for the new year 2005. No matter where you are, enjoy to the fullest and party hard ya? I gonna enjoy myself tonight too. Gonna dance all night and get myself drunk on the last day of 2004 and the first day of 2005. I will be working tonight from 7pm to 11pm before I head down to Devilsbar to join all my dearest friends for the countdown. Eh, hope I can get there in time for the countdown lor. I don't wanna stand at the entrance of Devilsbar to countdown like what happened on Xmas eve -_-''' Lastly, Happy New Year to all of you and have a great time partying tonight!!!!

PaSt tO PrEsEnT

I was looking through all my photos just now and decided to do a summary page of myself. From the photos above, I am sure you people can see the great differences from the before Miko and present Miko. There's a lot of hard work to become what I am today but its worth it. Nothing is impossible in this world. If you are determined to do something, you can achieve good results if you work hard.

As for my new year resolutions hor, I think the few I list down on my previous post is not enough. Ok, let me share with all of you the full list of my new year resolutions.

Time flies and the year 2004 is coming to an end in two days'time. There's a chinese saying that goes like this :"Shi Jian Bu Liu Ren." Time never waits for people de. So in order to achieve something every year, people will give themselves new year resolutions to fulfill. The resolution I gave myself this year was to slim down and I am really glad I managed to fulfill that. As for my new year resolutions for 2005, I have decided to further slim down and tone up my body. Not only that, I wanna start saving up. Freaking work for so long le but still no savings now. Sibeh bei ai lor. Oh ya, its Wednesday today le. In order to reserve my energy for this coming Friday, I will not be going to Devilsbar tonight. I need lots of rest lor. Been feeling damn tired because its time of the month again. And to all the guys out there, please remember this very important message. "I'M PMS-ING AND I DON'T NEED ANY SHIT FROM ANYBODY!". After taking pictures with all my beloved friends, We (Max, Des Des and me) went to find Apple darling at Marina South. Eh, we not going back to Devilsbar after that lor. The four of us were heading to Cineleisure for our long-awaited movie "Kungfu Hustle".

On Christmas Day, me and des dear went to Tampines Mall to have lunch cum dinner at Pizza Hut. After doing some shopping, we decided to catch a movie. So we called Apple darling and Max dear to join us too. The movie we watched was Meet The Fockers. Eh, the movie quite alright. Jokes sibeh lame but still entertaining. While we were waiting for our movie to start, they decided to have a few games of UNO.

Don't be shocked when you saw the pink beetle car blogskin again. I have no choice but to change back to this pinky blogskin because the B.I.T.C.H blogskin got problem. At least for now, my archives can be viewed le.

Anyway, last night at KBOX was great man~ Imagine in the beginning there's only 5 of us - Me, Apple, Des Des, Juliana and Marilyn. By the end of the KTV session, we have a total of about 20 people. Sibeh sut hor. It was really fun lor. Not only we can have fun at Devilsbar, we also can have fun somewhere else. I am really very happy to see everyone enjoying themselves last night. Many thanks to Juliana darling for organising this ktv session. Ai ni shen shen orh!

It's Xmas eve tonight and as usual I will be going down to Devilsbar. But before that I got to go Boat Quay and work first from 9pm to 1am. So I will be counting down for the Xmas while I work lor. Bobian leh, must earn money for my Bangkok shopping trip. After my work at Boat Quay, Des dear will come fetch me to Devilsbar. We go there table table first then head down to Marina South to look for Apple darling. We are not going back to Devilsbar lor. We will be going for movies!!! Kungfu Hustle!!! Hahaha... Very sut hor? Ka La Yong Yuan OK!!!!

Yeah!!! It's finally Thursday!! Well, my mood today is 40% happy 20% upset 20% sianz 10% angry and 10% PMS syndrome. 40% happy because I will be meeting almost all my devils kakis for ktv session today after work. I am sure it's gonna be fun because there are lots of us lor. Plus minus about 12 of us. Sut sut leh. Machiam Devilsbar gathering but not at Devilsbar lor. 20% upset is because my tanned is fading lor. Been raining the last few weeks and I didn't have a chance to go for suntanning. I am like a plant who needs a lot of sunshine de. Hopefully there'll be good weather with lots of sun then I can go and do some tanning after work since its half day tomorrow. 20% sianz because I still have a few things to clear for my work. The work is like forever cannot finish de lor. 10% angry is because my blog still got problem. Until now I am still unable to solve the toopid problem. If worse come to worst, I might have to do a new blog le. Damn sang nao jing~ Lastly, 10% PMS syndrome because my auntie gonna visit me AGAIN (Once a month mah). Been having lots of cravings lately which resulted in me gaining 1.5kg. Urgh!!! I wanna jian fei!!!! I think my new year resolution will be to lose weight AGAIN.

Sial lar, I got to perform as Sylvester Sim aka Lyvester Lim for my office Xmas party celebration today after work. Damn stress sial. I hope the performance will goes on smoothly tonight. This performance is called Singapore Idle and our group name is called The Misfits. We have the four judges namely Dick Tee, Flower Lian, Ducklass Oh and Can Can Lim. And four contestants namely Ahfit Batisah, Olina Joe, Daffy Khoo and Lyvester Lim. All of us had a full-dressed rehearsal last night and it was great! I didn't know I could look so cool with black sunglasses and black leather jacket. Wahaha.. My Apple darling will be coming to my office to give me support later. Thanks so much my dear!!! Muacks!!! Haiz, the maintenance for my blog is unsuccessful sial. I think got to wait till I have more time then I slowly go fix the stupid problem. Anyway, I met up with Apple darling yesterday after work to attend a talk. Knn.. freaking dio pian lor. It's a talk on MLM (Muilti Level Marketing). When we questioned him is it he selling any products, he still freaking got the cheek to say no. Nabeh! It's too much lor. Well, both Apple and I didn't stay and listen to the talk. We left that place and went for kopi at West Mall. Last night we had a very serious conversation lor. We talked our life now and our future. We shared our problems and gave each other advices. Both of us had a great time last night though the topic was very serious. Anyway, I will not be going down to Devilsbar tonight though I badly need a drink. I will be meeting Apple darling to do some shopping in town area. Hmmm... maybe I dragged her to Devilsbar with me after shopping. Hahaha...

Well, Miko have been a good girl during the weekend hor. I took half day on Friday to go KBOX with Des dear. Imagine both of us sing from 2pm to 7pm non-stop -_- Nearly sing until no voice sial. After our ktv session, we went Orchard to meet Max dear and Serene for dinner at Sakae Sushi. No plans of going anywhere, we decided to go Boat Quay to find Apple darling. Eh, I did pop by Devilsbar on Friday night BUT for 30 mins only leh. I was waiting for Des dear to fetch me go Boat Quay find Apple darling. Then Saturday, I went to Compass Point to meet Des dear for dinner. Eh yes, its dinner because I slept until damn late then kam wan wake up. After the dinner and some window shopping, I went to Des dear's house to see him perform. Eh eh eh, bu yao siang wai hor. I went his house to see him play game lah. Max dear joined us at his house later too. As for Sunday, I was lazing around waiting to watch Star Awards 2004. Nothing much to comment about the Star Awards though. It's like the same every year. Sianz. Ok lah, thats all about my weekends. Just enjoy the many many many pictures taken during the weekends.

Yeah~yeah~yeah~ I did it!! I did it!! You all must be wondering why I am so happy right? Hahaha, the answer is actually very simple. ITS BECAUSE I DIDN'T GO DEVILSBAR LAST NIGHT! Please don't blame me for being so happy because a lot of my friends like Apple Darling and some of my blog readers always don't believe I will not go Devilsbar on Wednesday. Eh, I also cannot blame them lah. I always say in my blog I am not going but in the end they saw me at Devilsbar. *blushed* Pai sey lah.. The temptations are too strong le.

You guys must be wondering what actually make me stay at home instead of going to Devilsbar, right? Well, nothing much really. I just practically stayed at home,watch TV, wash my clothes and talk cock with my brother. My mummy bought durians for us and we were just eating durians for dinner. I really pei fu my brother that he still dare to eat durians. When he was 6 or 7 yrs old, he swallowed and choked on the durian seed while eating durians at my grandma's house in Malaysia. Heng ah ~ my uncle acted fast and turned him upside down to push the seed out. After that incident, he still love durians. I love durians too but I love strawberries more. *wink*

Four reasons for the above topic today

1. My daddy installed a heater in the bathroom for me. Maybe you all might find it quite lame for being so happy over a heater but try to imagine I bathe with cold water every morning and every time after my chiong sessions at DevilsBar. It's freezing cold can. My daddy know I am prone to colds since young. At least now I can have a nice warm bath even at early hours. *Wink*
2. My mummy spent the whole of yesterday afternoon altering my working pants for me. I have lost so much weight till most of my working pants can't be worn le. That explains why I am always in skirts when I go work. So my dear mummy tried her best to alter two pairs of my pants so that I need not waste money in getting other people to alter.
3. I realised even if I don't have a bf to dote on me, but I still have my beloved parents. Friends are important but they can never be there for you all the time. But no matter what happen, our parents will always be there for us. That's why I totally agreed that the word FAMILY is formed by this short but sweet sentence Father And Mother I Love You (extracted from Lyana's blog, keke)
4. Work hard and you shall be rewarded. Yes, I was rewarded with $100 Takashimaya vouchers by my company for helping out in the HUGO Conference held last month. My colleagues who also helped out were rewarded with the vouchers too. I am not gonna use the $100 vouchers for myself but use it to get Christmas pressies for my parents. Though $100 worth of vouchers is not a lot but it comes in handy during this time.

The four reasons above are sufficient to make me feel loved for the rest of the week le. Eh, maybe not a week. It should be I felt loved whenever I use the heater for my bath and whenever I wore the pants my mummy altered for me. *blushed*

It's Wednesday today but I don't think I am heading down to Devilsbar tonight. I know its difficult to convince you all because some of you still see me at Devilsbar when I said I am not going. But I am REALLY trying very hard not to go on Wednesdays because I freaking can't wake up the next day for work lor. If I still continue to go chiong on every Wed and late for work on every Thurs, I think my boss will tell me :"Geraldine, why don't you quit your job here and work at Devilsbar?" Sial lar -____________-''' I don't want that to happen lor. Last Wed I didn't go because of S'pore Idols. So what other shows can have me glued to the TV instead of going to Devilsbar tonight? Hmmm, I must think of something exciting and interesting enough to stop me from going to Devilsbar on Wednesdays. Do drop me a tag if you all have any nice suggestions for me, ya?

STRESS BUSTERS!!! *Music of Ghost Busters playing in the backgound*
Wahahaha... don't -_-''' hor. It's damn useful lor but you must know what works for you. As for me, my stress busters are jogging and packing my room. When I feel very depressed or stressed up, I will go for a jog at the stadium. But if it rains like yesterday, I will pack and tidy up my room.

I will on some music, prepare lots of plastic bags because I know there's gonna be a lot of rubbish to throw away and then start packing. While packing, I will come across things that will bring back memories. Things like cards, presents, letters and photos. Being a very sentimental person, I will keep the coach tickets when I went KL with my ex bf, all the tickets of the movies we watched and a little diary. Memories are meant to be remembered no matter its good or bad.

Anyway, I started packing my room at 7.30pm. It took me 4 hours to finish packing and 4 big plastic bags full of rubbish were thrown away. After all the packing, I still sweep the floor in my bedroom. Sut hor... I felt a sense of accomplishment which resulted in a better mood. *wink* So for those of you who are feeling down, get yourself a stress buster. It will do yourself a lot of good.
